The man told Marshal Copeland that he and Bradley had a verbal argument regarding his pay, during which heated words were exchanged. He alleged that Bradley threatened him, saying, “If you don’t shut the f*** up I will bash your f***ing head in.” The victim also stated that he made an obscene gesture towards Bradley, after which Bradley allegedly hit his hand.

The affidavit states that Marshal Copeland then contacted Bradley at his residence. Bradley reportedly told the officer that the alleged victim had stuck his finger in his face and that he had “smacked it out of his face.” Bradley later went to the Shoals security center to speak with Marshal Copeland again, stating that he was tired during the initial contact and was now awake. He reiterated that he only pushed the man’s finger away from his face.

Marshal Copeland’s affidavit included a request for an arrest warrant for Bradley. Bradley was detained on charges of intimidation on Thursday, May 1.
