Seymour seeks public input on street safety through online survey and mapping tool

SEYMOUR – The City of Seymour is actively seeking input from its residents to develop strategies for making local streets safer for everyone. As part of an initiative to eliminate fatal and serious crashes within the community, the city has launched an online survey and a user-friendly mapping tool.

The online survey poses questions designed to gather residents’ perspectives on current street safety conditions and their driving behaviors on Seymour roads. This feedback will be crucial in understanding the community’s experiences and identifying key areas of concern.

In addition to the survey, a mapping tool has been made available online, allowing residents to pinpoint specific locations where they have safety concerns. The tool offers categories to identify issues related to general safety, pedestrians, cyclists, and accessibility, providing a visual representation of potential problem areas across the city.

Seymour residents are strongly encouraged to participate in this critical process. Your valuable insights will directly contribute to developing effective strategies to enhance street safety for all who live, work, and travel in the community.
