Austin A. Engelking, 29 of Freetown, passed away from an auto accident on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Austin was born in Seymour on June 15, 1995, to Nathan and Crystal (Wheeler) Engelking. He graduated from Brownstown Central High School in 2015 and worked in construction.
He is survived by two children, Nevaeh Engelking and Kyren Engelking, two sisters, Crystal Engelking of Norman and Hunter Engelking of Michigan, his stepmother, Melina Engelking of Freetown, one stepsister, Tayden Francis of Freetown, and one stepbrother, Gavin Anderson of Kurtz.
Austin was preceded in death by his father, Nathan Engelking, and his mother, Crystal (Wheeler) Engelking.
Funeral services will be on Friday, May 9, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at the Freetown Church of Christ, 7077 State Road 135, Freetown, Indiana 47235, with Brother Barry Dewitt officiating. Visitations will be on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. at the church.
