BEDFORD – Bedford North Lawrence’s lineup got shaken, and stirred, during Monday’s match with Salem and Paoli on the back nine at Otis Park.
The Stars played two teams, and it was the designated second unit that recorded the team triumph. BNL’s B squad – even with only four players – fired a 172 to edge the A team by two shots. The Lions carded 189, while the Rams posted 190.
Parker Foddrill was the runaway medalist with a 1-over 36 for the B unit. Everyone else scuffled.
“I’m really happy for Parker and how well he played,” BNL coach Trey Turner said. “He earned medalist honors, for sure.
”I‘m disappointed in the way we played, but we will get a chance to respond positively.”
Drew McKee posted a 42 for BNL’s A squad. Hunter Trainor paced Salem with 43, while Colton Henderson and Jonny Shellenberger had 46s for Paoli.
The Stars will host their annual BNL Invitational on Saturday.
