Brenda D. Turner, 73, of Bedford, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones at 12:33 am on Friday, April 25, 2025.
Born January 7, 1952, she was the daughter of George Louis and Mary Jane (Holtsclaw) Price. She married William Turner, and he survives. She was a graduate of Oolitic High School. She was a welder in Connecticut for a shipyard, welding on the submarine USS City of Corpus Christy from the beginning until its completion. She later retired from G.E.
Survivors include her husband, Bill, of Bedford; a brother, Gary Price and his wife, Dee, of TX; two daughters, Stephanie Beavin and husband, Chris and Margaret Connerley and husband, Brian; grandchildren, Bryan Conley (April Staggs), Natasha Freeman (Daniel), Kayla Kern, Scott Conley, Drew Connerley and girlfriend, Winter, Alexia Conerley and fiancé, Hunter, Jacob Connerley, and Jayce Nikkila; great-grandchildren, Matthew Conley, Riley Conley, Elora Freeman, Zachery Freeman, Joshua Freeman, Dakota Freeman, Hope Freeman, Kyanna Strader, Logan Kern, Gwennieverre Connerley, Ellie Connerley, Kacey Harvey, Nickkiah Staggs, Gage Conley, Christopher Conley (Erica); great-great grandchildren, Paislei Leamer, Rider Leamer, Julian Conley, Zane Conley, Xander Conley. She was preceded in death by her parents, a great-grandson, Liam Connerley; a nephew, Jarrett Duquenne; and a great-nephew, Daniel Duquenne.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Tuesday, April 29th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in Dive Cemetery.
