Jody Bowen, 50, of Seymour, passed away at 9:20 am on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at her residence.
Born July 25, 1974, in Marion, she was the daughter of Levi Britton and Dee Luttrell-Hughes. She was a mortgage broker with Unique Mortgage.
Survivors include two children, Brandy Bowen, of Florida, and Quinton Trejo, of Indianapolis; a brother, Levi Britton, Jr.; a sister, Danielle Britton; brothers, Justin and Jacob Albertson; aunts, Charletta J. Luttrell and Shawn Miller; an uncle, Allen D. Albertson; her step-mother, Janet Britton; Jody’s grandchildren, Amia Collins, Sofie Lessig, and Jagger Lessig; cousins, Racquel Luttrell-Hudson, Tonnetta Luttrell-Evans (son: Waylon J. Luttrell and daughter: Gracie Luttrell), Ellen Albertson, Melissa Bocquez and Michelle Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charles R. Luttrell, Dorthy Luttrell-Baughman, and Nelly Mann.
Graveside memorial services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 25th at Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Friday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
