WASHINGTON – Three women were taken into custody late Tuesday night following a residential entry incident at a home on Mill Street in Washington.
Officers from the Washington Police Department responded to a call at approximately 11:51 p.m. after a resident reported that a woman had entered the dwelling while yelling. Authorities arrived on the scene within minutes and apprehended multiple individuals.
According to police reports, Trista Witty, 23, was arrested on a string of charges including residential entry, impersonating a public servant, battery, criminal trespass, and disorderly conduct. Patricia Craft, 54, also faces charges of battery and disorderly conduct in connection with the incident.
A third individual, identified as Jennifer Linville, 23, was taken into custody due to an active arrest warrant out of Vermillion County.
During the incident, one of the women involved reported sustaining a head injury. She was transported to Daviess Community Hospital for medical evaluation before being returned to the security center.
The Washington Police Department has confirmed that the incident remains under active investigation, and further details may be released as the inquiry progresses.
