INDIANAPOLIS – The Postvention Workgroup, a key component in the development of Indiana’s new State Suicide Prevention Plan, is inviting individuals with lived experience and those who have supported others through suicide loss or suicidal thoughts or attempts to participate in a vital listening session.
The session, which will be held virtually via Zoom, is scheduled for Thursday, April 25th, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT).
The Postvention Workgroup is specifically focused on developing content for the new state plan that addresses the crucial phase after a suicide has occurred, as well as providing support for those impacted by suicidal ideation and attempts. This listening session gathers diverse perspectives to ensure the plan is comprehensive and practical for all Hoosiers.
Anyone with personal experience or who has supported someone through suicide loss, suicidal thoughts, or attempts is strongly encouraged to attend and share their insights. Your voice will be instrumental in shaping the postvention aspects of the state’s suicide prevention efforts.
