SALEM— Indiana State Police (ISP) detectives and crime scene investigators from the Sellersburg Post are investigating the burglary of Good Living Pharmacy, an independent pharmacy in Salem.
The incident occurred around 6:00 a.m. on Monday, April 7, when the Salem Police Department responded to a report of a broken front window at a vacant storefront between the Salem Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) branch and Good Living Pharmacy. Both businesses are part of a retail strip shopping center on Jim Day Road, on the east side of Salem.

Upon arrival, Salem Police officers discovered that someone had forcibly entered Good Living Pharmacy and subsequently contacted detectives from the ISP Sellersburg Post to take over the investigation.
As the investigation progressed, detectives determined that the perpetrators stole narcotic drugs and an undisclosed amount of cash during the burglary. Authorities believe the crime occurred sometime over the weekend, between Friday evening and Monday morning.
The investigation into this pharmacy burglary is currently ongoing. Indiana State Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area or possesses any information related to this case to come forward.
