BORDEN – Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Milestone Contractors is scheduled to begin a bridge replacement project on State Road 60 over Packwood Branch on or after Monday, March 24, in Clark County.
Work will occur west of Borden between Hunt Drive and Old Pekin Road. Weather permitting, it is expected to be complete in mid-June. Temporary traffic signals will be utilized while work is in progress.
Following this work, an additional bridge rehabilitation project will take place on State Road 60 in Washington County as part of this contract. INDOT will provide further information at a later date.
This work is part of a $3.2 million contract awarded to Milestone in December 2024. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, be cautious, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
