The Star System Percussion place 3rd at Franklin Community

FRANKLIN—On Saturday, March 8th, the Bedford North Lawrence (BNL) Star System Percussion group took their show “Welcome to Our Circus” to Franklin Community High School. They performed against five other bands in concert class A.

The Star System Percussion uses a variety of non-marching instruments when performing.  Their show contains various musical pieces and acts commonly related to the circus.  You can watch each member play their instrument while hearing some speaking lines and special performances from the characters.

The Stars placed third out of the six groups that performed. Pike Central Indoor Percussion and Bloomington High School North beat them out of first place. BNL scored 69.6, and Pike and Bloomington scored 73.8 and 72.2, respectively.

Their next performance will be at Brownsburg High School on Saturday, March 22nd.
