Juvenile detained after school threat investigation in Bartholomew County

BARTHOLOMEW CO. – A juvenile has been taken into custody following an investigation into threats made against a local school, according to the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Department.

On Tuesday, deputies were alerted to the alleged threat, prompting an immediate investigation. The juvenile suspect was subsequently taken into custody and transported to the Bartholomew County Youth Services Center.

The Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Department has assured the community that there are no outstanding threats related to this incident. Law enforcement officials have worked closely with the Bartholomew Consolidated School’s administration throughout the investigation.

“The safety of our schools is a top priority,” stated Sheriff Chris Lane. “Cases like this will be thoroughly investigated to ensure the safety of our schools.”
