OOLITIC- The Oolitic Marshal’s Office is adding Shane Hickman as its newest full-time officer. Officer Hickman brings a wealth of experience, having served in the Indiana Air National Guard as a member of the Security Forces. Additionally, he has five years of experience in corrections with the Bartholomew County Jail.
Shane recently completed the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA) Pre-Basic Training and has begun his field training. Later this year, he will attend the ILEA Tier 1 Academy to further his law enforcement education.
In his free time, Officer Hickman enjoys raising Thoroughbred horses, hunting, fishing, and spending quality time with his wife and children.
