Tom ‘TJ’ “Bubba” J. Gregory, 73, of Bloomington, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at the Indiana University Hospice House.
Born July 19, 1951, in London, Kentucky, he was the son of Newton and Ethel (Gross) Gregory.
In his early years, TJ loved playing horseshoes, corn hole, and bowling. He won trophies for horseshoes and bowling. He enjoyed card games like euchre, poker, and Uno. TJ attended church at Shiloh for seven years and visited Peerless church occasionally. He was a regular at Mr. C’s gas station daily and liked hanging out with all the employees. TJ had a moped he absolutely loved and rode all over the county. He was loved by many and will never be forgotten.
Survivors include several nieces, nephews, and cousins. TJ is preceded in death by his parents, Newton and Ethel Gregory; his sisters, Loretta Houtchings and Marthy Allen; and brother, Clinton Frazier.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 27, 2025, at Shiloh Church. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service Monday. Burial will follow at Springville Cemetery West.
