SULLIVAN CO. — A criminal investigation led to the arrest of two individuals on Thursday in Sullivan County following allegations of sexual misconduct with a minor and neglect.
According to Indiana State Police Sergeant Matt Ames, the investigation was initiated after authorities received information regarding the abuse. After a thorough investigation, Timothy R. Squire, 63, of Jasonville, and Rebecca Squire, 59, of Dugger, were arrested on active warrants.

Timothy R. Squire faces serious charges, including child molesting/intercourse or deviate sex with a victim less than 14, a Class A felony, and three counts of child molesting, a Level 1 felony.
Rebecca Squire has been charged with neglect of a dependent, a Level 6 felony.
The investigation was a collaborative effort involving the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Department, Jasonville Police Department, Dugger Police Department, Sullivan County Department of Child Services, and Susie’s Place, a child advocacy center.
Both individuals are currently in custody, and the investigation is ongoing.
Those facing criminal charges are considered innocent unless convicted through due legal proceedings. Accusations alone do not imply guilt; the judicial system will evaluate the presented evidence to reach a verdict
