Rosalie Anne Miller, 95, of Bedford, passed away at her residence on Monday, January 20, 2025.
She was born September 18, 1929, in Bedford, to Henry and Edna Fillion Winterhalter. She married Cecil Miller on November 9, 1954, and he preceded her in death in 2019.
Anne was a graduate of Bedford High School, class of 1947, a member of the Erie Homemakers Club and a lifelong member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. She had worked for The Times Mail and the Bedford Division of Ford-Philco. She was a farmer’s wife, homemaker and a loving and devoted mother. She was adept at cooking and sewing, making a marriage quilt for each of her children and a baby quilt for the grandchildren when they arrived. She enjoyed bird watching, quilting and crossword puzzles.
Surviving to cherish Anne’s memory are her children, Sam (Rhonda) Miller, Michael (Linda) Miller, Nancy Miller, Ed Miller, Mary Bess, Art Miller, Carl (Judy Dixon) and Mark (Melanie Neeley) Miller; 26 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Edna Winterhalter; husband, Cecil Miller; brother, Pete Winterhalter; and sister, Frances Dorsett.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, January 24, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Visitation will be Thursday, January 23, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes in Bedford.
