Luann (George) Strunk, 58, of Bedford, passed away at 9:00 pm on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at I.U. Health Bedford Hospital surrounded by loved ones.
Born April 5, 1966, she was the youngest of 9 children born to Stanley and Evelyn (Bunch) George. Luann enjoyed spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, and extended family. She was an avid crafter and loved DIY projects and working with her hands. She spent many hours caring for her fur babies and never knew a stranger.
Survivors include her husband, Jim Strunk; daughters, Sarah Strunk and Ashley Dowling; son-in-law, Derek Dowling; grandchildren, Alice Dowling, Ember Dowling, Aaron Strunk, and Billy Dowling; siblings, Karen, Jimmy, and Randy. She was preceded in death by her parents; Evelyn and Stanley; siblings, Susie, Johnny, Tommy, Eddi,e and Scott; mother and father-in-law, Eva and Donald Strunk; brother-in-law, Charles Strunk and daughter, Courtney.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Monday, January 20 th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Millard Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Patton Hill Cemetery.
