LOOGOOTEE – US 231 in Martin County, near Day Road, was shut down for an extended period Wednesday night as Martin County Sheriff’s Department deputies investigated a fatal accident.
The accident was south of Loogootee near the Alfordsville turn off.
The investigation is continuing. No other information is available at this time.
