Lillian Rose Vanscoy, 74, of Mitchell, passed away Monday, January 10, 2022, at Indiana University Health Bedford Hospital.
Born January 8, 1948, in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of William and Ruth (Gahimer) Southworth. She married Leroy Vanscoy on April 6, 1966, and he preceded her in death on December 6, 2018.
Lillian had been employed at the Jay-C Deli and had assisted her husband with his business. She enjoyed crocheting and cooking and was a very sweet and generous person.
Lillian was a member of the Mitchell First Church of God.
Survivors include her son, Lee (Christy Ann) Vanscoy of Mitchell; grandchildren, Cody, Audriana, Jazlyn; twin sister, Janet Spain of Ohio; brothers, William Southworth of Shelbyville and David Southworth of Shelbyville
Cremation was chosen.
