BLOOMINGTON – Congratulations to the HHCC Emergency Medical Services students on the yearly ceremony to take the “EMT Oath” on the path to becoming National Registered Emergency Medical Technicians.

Students taking “EMT Oath” on the path to becoming National Registered Emergency Medical Technicians.

The ceremony was at 9:00 a.m. Monday, September 13th, and was held outside the front of Hoosier Hills Career Center at the flagpole.

The opening referenced the service of the numerous public service workers who worked tirelessly or lost their lives as a result of the events of 9/11.

HHCC specifically hosts the ceremony around 9/11 to reflect on those events and encourage the students who are making the commitment to serve in this type of capacity as they graduate from high school.

Congratulations to these students, they will make wonderful heros.
