LAWRENCE CO. – Lawrence County budget hearings will continue Tuesday night September 7, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. and Thursday night at 6:00 p.m. at the Lawrence County courthouse.
On Tuesday night all the local courts will be submitting their budgets which include Superior Court I, Superior Court II, and Circuit Court and the Lawrence County Prosecutor’s Office buget.
The budgets requests include:
- Superior Court I – $209,623
- Problem Solving Court – Superior Court 1 – $136,457
- Superior Court II – $283,038.24
- Problem Solving Court – Drug Court – Superior Court II – $128,139
- Problem Solving Court – Probation for problem solving court – $25,232
- Circuit Court – $571,837
- Non -violent – $18,900
- Adult probation – $168,326
- Victim Services – $9,440
- Dispute Resolution – $12,000
- Probation – $412,921
- Community Corrections – $286,723
- Project Income – $420,620
- Justice Reinvestment Grant – $194,341
- Family Court Grant – $20,000
- ADAPT – $134,760
- Guardian Ad Litem – $53,016
Other department requests will be heard Tuesday night will include Weights & Measures, Coroner, County Assessor, and Public Defender.
On Thursday night the Solid Waste district budget will be adopted and a budget run-through of all the departments will be completed.
A final run-through of the budget will occur on Tuesday, September 23rd and the 2022 budget will be adopted on October 7th.
