Bedford woman arrested after police find 13.34 grams of meth in her vehicle

BEDFORD – A Bedford woman was arrested after a Bedford Police Officer stopped a blue Ford Focus after the driver failed to use their turn signal at 4th Street and GM Drive Thursday night.

The driver stopped at GM Drive and Breckenridge Road.

Police say the driver, 30-year-old Lacey Barlow, appeared extremely nervous.

Barlow refused to give police permission to search her vehicle. Canine Zazu arrived on the scene and alerted positive for drugs. 

During a search of the vehicle police found a marijuana vape pen, a plastic baggie that contained meth, syringes and a zip pouch that contained marijuana, a metal spoon and cotton ball, and a baggie that contained pills and a digital scale. 

Police seized 13.34 grams of meth.

Barlow told police the items belonged to her friend.

Barlow was arrested on charges of dealing meth, possession of meth, possession of a narcotic drug, unlawful possession of syringes, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
