(LAWRENCE CO.) – The Lawrence County Council has called an executive session on Tuesday, January 5, at 6:00 p.m. to discuss judge mandates.
A mandate from Judge William Sleva to compensate court staff of $5,000 a year has been received. This is to include court reporters and other staff.
In addition, a raise of $500 a year, will follow the initial mandate according to officials close to the matter.
New Lawrence County Council members will weigh in on the mandates.
