Evelyne Waggoner, 96, of Loogootee, formally of Shoals, passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at the Loogootee Healthcare and Rehabilitation.
She was born July 7, 1924 in Trinity Springs. She married Hubert Waggoner and he preceded her in death in December 1942. She then married Harvey Waggoner and he preceded her in death in December 2005.
Evelyne was a graduate of Trinity Springs High School, retired from Crane in 1974, and was a maid at the Overlook Cabins and worked in several local restaurants. She attended the Dover Hill Methodist Church.
She is survived by four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great niece.
She was preceded in death by her husband Hubert; husband Harvey; and one son, Paul Waggoner.
The family has chosen a private burial in the Spring Hill Cemetery.
The Queen-Lee Chapel of the Thorne-George Family Homes has been entrusted with the arrangements.
