(BEDFORD) – A Greenwood woman was injured after her vehicle left the roadway and rolled Thursday night on State Road 37 near Oak Wood Drive.
According to a Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department police report, 30-year-old Tabatha Boyd was traveling south on State Road 37 when she fell asleep at the wheel.
The accident was reported at 6:13 p.m.
Her 2015 Chevrolet Traverse ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a stone cut. The vehicle rolled, traveled 500 feet, and landed on the driver’s side door.
Boyd told police she fell asleep while driving.
Boyd complained of neck and body pain and was transported by ambulance to IU Health Hospital for treatment.
