(MITCHELL) – On Monday night the Mitchell School Board made several personnel changes ahead of the opening of the 2020-2021 school year.

In other business:
The Mitchell School board approved the sale of Bus #13 and Bus #29 for $1,000 each.
The school board also approved the disposal of obsolete technology equipment that will no longer be of any value to the school corporation.
Finally, the school corporation approved a change to the pay scale of a school LPN/Medical Assistant to include benefits. The position at this time has not been filled.
The teachers of the corporation will begin this Wednesday and a training session will be held to prepare them for the upcoming school year. The student’s first day is Monday.
School board members will tour all of the school facilities on Friday afternoon to look over the preparations that have been made ahead of the opening of the schools.
