(UNDATED) – The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced the closure of State Road 60 in Lawrence and Orange Counties for drainage culvert replacements.
Beginning today, INDOT Maintenance crews will begin replacing four drainage pipes on State Road 60 from about six miles east of the junction of State Road 37 to the Washington County line.
Each pipe will be done in succession and only one location will be closed at a time.
The project requires a full closure at each location for excavation of the old pipe.
Work is scheduled to wrap up by the end of the week depending upon the weather.
Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure.
Through traffic will need to use the official detour following State Road 37, State Road 337, and State Road 56.
