Wanda Lou Edwards, 83, of Mitchell, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2020, at Mitchell Manor.
Born January 18, 1937, in Martin County, she was the daughter of Lloyd A. and Claribelle (Mundy) Terry. She married Robert Wayne Edwards on June 3, 1955, and he preceded her in death on October 14, 2003.
Wanda retired from Naval Surface Warfare Center–Crane Division. She graduated from Mitchell High School in 1955 and was a member of Tulip Street Christian Church, the Heavenly Hens Bible Study, and Fleur-de-Lis Club. Wanda served three years as Marion Township Trustee.
Survivors include her daughter, Ada (Danny) Reynolds of Mitchell; grandchildren, Laura (Jared) Rains, Aaron (Brittany) Powell, David Jack; great-grandchildren, Tinsley and Teigan; sister, Tracy Dobson of Mitchell; nephew, Brian (Kim) Fults; great-nieces and nephews, Brianne (Brett) Mosier, Brennan (Kaydy) Fults, Braeden Fults
Her parents, husband, and daughter, L. Carol Jack, preceded her in death.
Family service was Monday, April 27, at Mitchell Cemetery. A celebration of life service will be at a later date.
