(BEDFORD) – A Mitchell man was arrested after Bedford Police Officers were requested to the 1600 block of Tunnelton Road after a report of threats.
While officers were on their way to the home the victim identified the male making the threats as 34-year-old Jayce Hughes, of Mitchell.
The victim told police Hughes was now in his truck and ramming things on the property.
When officers arrived, Hughes stepped out of his truck and placed his hands on his head.
The victim told police Hughes had arrived at his house looking for his golf clubs and when the victim said he didn’t have them Hughes started damaging property with his truck.
While officers were inventorying Hughes’ truck they found meth and marijuana.
Hughes, of 1273 Rabbitsville Rd., was arrested on charges of battery, intimidation, possession of meth, and possession of marijuana.
