Man Arrested After Acting Suspicious at Gas Station

(BEDFORD) – A Williams man was arrested after a Bedford Police officer on routine patrol noticed a man acting suspiciously at Revere’s & Food and Fuel.

“He (the officer) ran the registration plate and it returned to a female that matched the description of the driver,” said Chief Terry Moore. “He was informed that the female did not have a valid driver’s license.  When the vehicle left the parking lot the officer made a traffic stop.”

The male passenger, 43-year-old Brandon Hillenburg, of Williams, gave the officers a name and date of birth that did not match any BMV returns.

“It was later determined that the male was really Brandon Hillenburg and he was wanted on had an active warrant,” Chief Moore added.

The female driver was given a ticket for driving while her driver’s license was suspended and Hillenburg was arrested on charges of fraud, theft and identity deception.
