(BEDFORD) – A Mitchell man was arrested after a Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department stopped his vehicle at 14th and L streets early this morning.
A LCPD K-9 alerted police to the possible presence of drugs in the vehicle driven by 25-year-old Dallas Knight.
“Officers located 41.1 grams of synthetic THC wax, 111.85 grams of marijuana, a digital scale and a 9mm handgun that was determined to be stolen from a Mitchell Police Department case,” says Chief Deputy Aaron Shoults.
Knight was arrested without incident on charges of possession of a handgun without a license, possession of marijuana, possession of a synthetic drug and theft and transported to the Lawrence County Jail.
