  • 5:37 a.m. Report of criminal mischief in the 560 block of Harrison Road. Someone had cut his fencing on his dog pen and his two wolf-hybrids are missing
  • 6:47 a.m. Officers made extra patrols at Needmore Elementary
  • 7:43 p.m. Alarm sounding at Kentucky Fried Chicken in Mitchell. It was set off by accident
  • 8:10 a.m. Follow up investigation in the 100 block of Parkwood
  • 8:35 a.m. Controlled fire in the 150 block of Burkwood Hills Lane
  • 8:59 a.m. IU Health Hospital reported they received several calls from a female saying she was having trouble breathing but would not give a name or address. Police contacted the woman and the call was answered by a male who said dispatch had the wrong number. Then a female got on the phone and said she called the hospital by accident and there was no issue and hung up
  • 9:02 a.m. Request for animal control in the 1480 block of Yockey Road for a yellow lab running loose
  • 9:05 a.m. Controlled fire in the 2630 block of Dixie Highway
  • 10:08 a.m. Medical emergency in the 620 block of Davey Cox Road. A 96-year-old female fell and possibly broke her hip
  • 11:08 a.m. Controlled fire in the 1150 block of Steve Earl Road
  • 11:21 a.m. Report of a suspicious vehicle on Peerless Road at the bridge
  • 11:21 a.m. Follow up investigation in the 560 block of Harrison Road
  • 11:22 a.m. A resident in the 560 block of Murdock Station Road reported a large truck turned around in their driveway and broke his mailbox. The driver said the company would take care of the damage. The caller just wants the information logged
  • 11:41 a.m. A resident in the 2600 block of Fayetteville Road reported her husband took her 2009 Harley Davidson Streetglide on Dec. 29th and had not returned home. She believes he went to Oregon or Mooresville, Indiana. She does not want to report the bike stolen at this time
  • 12:27 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Patton Hill Road
  • 12:32 p.m. Animal controlled to the 770 block of Twin Bridges Road
  • 12:38 p.m. Lift assist in the 670 block of South Meridian Road. A 60-year-old woman has fallen and can’t get up
  • 12:40 p.m. Controlled fire in the 1690 block of Beaver Creek Road
  • 12:41 p.m. A person was at the Mitchell Police Department to speak to an officer
  • 12:43 p.m. Document service in the 230 block of Greer Lane
  • 12:59 p.m. Agency assist with the Department of Child Services in the 1100 block of Sheridan Drive. Children are now in the custody of DCS
  • 1:01 p.m. Parking problem at 8th Street and Hancock Avenue in Mitchell
  • 1:31 p.m. Wildland fire in the 30 block of Church Camp Road
  • 1:48 p.m. Alarm sounding in the 1220 block of Church Camp Road. It was set off accidentally
  • 1:53 p.m. Lift assist in the 1920 block of Stevens Avenue
  • 1:54 p.m. Medical emergency in the 1160 block of Camelot Courts. An elderly female was not breathing
  • 1:58 p.m. Medical emergency in the 10 block of Coxton Road. A wife is having an allergic reaction to a medication
  • 2:04 p.m. Medical emergency on 7th Street in Mitchell. An 80-year-old fell and is bleeding from her nose and eye
  • 2:30 p.m. Report of a tree down and blocking the roadway in the 330 block of Huron Railroad Street
  • 2:55 p.m. Traffic stop at 8th Street and Hoosier Avenue in Oolitic
  • 2:57 p.m. Request for animal control to the 180 block of Walnut Heights to check on the welfare of dogs. The owner was warned to improve the conditions and animal will check back on the dogs
  • 3:29 p.m. Traffic stop at Meadowbrook Drive and Springville Judah Road. A citation was issued for speeding
  • 3:31 p.m. Trespassing at Speedway. The caller says a man is panhandling and is holding a sign and has a dog with him. The man was told to move on
  • 3:33 p.m. 911 call in the 800 block of West Main Street near the library. It was an accidental call
  • 3:39 p.m. Citizen assist at the Mitchell Police Department
  • 3:53 p.m. A body was found in the 400 block of West Warren Street. A female told police that she was told today by a female that her ex-husband had overdosed last night and when she arrived at his residence she found him dead. An ambulance was requested for a female and she was taken to St. Vincent Dunn Hospital
  • 3:56 p.m. Traffic stop in the 120 block of Brick Street
  • 4:02 p.m. Domestic fight in the 180 block of Jefferson Street. The caller says her brother is fighting with his grandfather. A juvenile male was detained
  • 4:10 p.m. Alarm sounding in the 730 block of Meridian Road
  • 4:12 p.m. Traffic stop at Fifth and E streets
  • 4:41 p.m. Agency assist at I and 15th streets
  • 5:38 p.m. A woman was on station to report fraud
  • 5:41 p.m. A resident in the 310 block of Wade Street reported finding a syringe in their driveway
  • 5:49 p.m. A juvenile was transported to Johnson County Detention Center
  • 6:26 p.m. Medical emergency at the Men’s Warming Center. A male was suffering a migraine

  • 7:02 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a vehicle at Mitchell Road at the overpass and flashing their high beams at vehicles
  • 7:18 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Stevens Lane
  • 7:36 p.m. Traffic stop in the 2910 block of State Road 37
  • 7:52 p.m. Traffic stop at Hoosier Avenue and Third Street
  • 7:57 p.m. Citizen dispute in the 340 block of Bartlett Drive. The caller says the residents are refusing to give her, her property and have poured syrup all over it

  • 2:02 a.m. 911 call in the 2620 block of Industrial Park Drive. The woman says she has been punched in the face and locked out of her apartment. Bedford Police were alerted
