Jerry Lee Nash, 78, of Mitchell, passed away on the evening of January 7th, 2020.
He was born on August 19, 1941, in Big Ready, Edmonson County, Kentucky. Jerry grew up in Williams, Indiana, and graduated from Huron High School in 1959. Jerry was an avid sports lover and enjoyed bowling, golfing, and outdoor activities including water skiing, camping, and mushroom hunting.
Jerry enjoyed spending time with his family, including his grandchildren Morgan (girl), Morgan (boy), Brendon, Chloe, and Donovan.Â
Jerry was one of 9 children of Elmer and Leavie Nash (nee Whalen).
He is preceded in death by his mother, father, and siblings Dorothy, Loreen, Floyd, Delbert, Gladys, Norma, and Roger.
He is survived by his youngest sister, Joyce King, children, Gregory Lee Nash and Julia Beth Lowe, and his grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Cresthaven Funeral Home from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 11, 2020.
