(CARLISLE) – Wabash Valley Correctional Facility (WVCF) is hosting a Master Student Master Employee/National Career Readiness Certification (MSME-NCRC) Graduation.
There were 20 offenders graduating the program.
The guest speaker will be Parole Division Deputy Director of Operations, Mitch Donick, with Carol Roberts presenting the certificates. The MSME graduation is on Friday, November 8th, and will begin at 1 p.m.
Background
WVCF implemented the MSME-NCRC Program in 2016. The program is geared towards helping offenders gain the skills necessary to transition from the classroom to the workforce. The participants do interactive journal entries, hands-on activities, and study information specific to career readiness and workplace development. Through the course curriculum, they gain valuable education to help them obtain their National Career Readiness Certification.
