Mrs. Marjorie Lucille Lewis 96, of Bedford, passed from this life in her home on October 15, 2019.
She was born in Bedford, Indiana, on March 19, 1923, the daughter of the late Ellis and Carrie Myers Medlock. She was married on Feb. 29, 1940, to the late Rev. David W. Lewis.
He passed away April 02, 2001. Surviving are her sons David Gene Lewis and his wife Teresa of Bloomington, In., Rev. Jerry Lee Lewis and his wife Janice of Wilkes-Barre, Pa., daughter Sharon Lynn and her husband Rev. Dale Sims of Pana, Il.
She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one sister Lillian Browning and 2 grand-sons. She was a member of Guide Pointe Church of Bedford, Indiana. She was truly an Apostolic.
Funeral service will be Saturday October 19, 2019 at 2pm at Cresthaven Funeral Home, burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from noon until service time at 2pm on Saturday. Rev. Chris Perry officiating.
