(BLOOMINGTON) – City of Bloomington Utilities (CBU) crews are on-site to repair a water main break at the intersection of Kirkwood and Washington.
The intersection is flooded and closed to traffic in both directions. Crews are currently working to identify the location of the break and may close a valve to decrease the water pressure, interrupting water service for those in the area. CBU estimates that the repair will take eight to 10 hours.
Motorists are advised to find an alternate route while work continues in the area, or to adjust their speed accordingly when traveling near the work zone. If you have questions or concerns, please contact CBU at 812-339-1444.
