William H. Conley, 71, of Mitchell, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2018, at Indiana University Health Bedford Hospital.
Born July 27, 1947, in Bedford, he was the son of Robert H. and Laura Ellen (Dumond) Conley.
Bill was the owner of Conley Trucking Company. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army Airborne Special Forces.
Survivors include his son, Chris Conley and brother, Michael J. Conley of Canton, Georgia
His parents; son, Michael Conley; and brother, Clifford Dean Conley, preceded him in death.
Graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 15, at Port William Cemetery with Brother Kris Beasley officiating. Military honors will be accorded by American Legion Post No. 250 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107. Friends may call from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. Friday at Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center.
