Kyle Guy Participates In Pacers Pre-Draft Workout

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) – Virginia guard and Indianapolis-native Kyle Guy was among six participants in the Pacers’ pre-draft workouts on Thursday.

Guy said it felt good to be back home and despite being a national champion he still gets overlooked.

“I don’t pass very many eye tests,” he says.

The 6-2, 168 pounder was thrown into the national spotlight in the NCAA Tournament and hit three crucial foul shots with 0.6 seconds left to lead the Cavaliers to victory.

Guy added that he decided to forgo his senior season at Virginia because he “had nothing left to prove”.

“This is who I am,” he continued. “I’m a goals-oriented person. I set goals, I accomplish them, I move on.”

The Pacers will hold a fifth pre-draft workout session on Friday. Tennessee’s Admiral Schofield, North Carolina’s Luke Maye, Michigan’s Ignas Brazdeikis, Marshall’s Jon Elmore and Mississippi State’s Aric Holman round out the group.
