2019 ISFA Queen To Visit Indiana’s Dogwood Capital For Annual Parade Saturday

(ORLEANS) – Robert F. Henderson, Exec. Director of Orleans Chamber of Commerce has announced that the newly crowned 2019 Indiana State Festival Association (ISFA) Queen Madison Millick will be visiting the upcoming 51st Annual Orleans Dogwood Festival as part of the Dogwood Parade set for the last weekend Saturday, April 27th.


Millick hails from Linton where she reigned over the community’s Freedom Festival. Currently, a sophomore at the University of Southern Indiana, Madison is a part of the Occupational Therapy Assistant Program at USI and involved in Chi Alpha, a campus ministry of USI.

Millick said she is looking forward to a great year traveling to all of the state’s festivals and pageants the ISFA beginning with a visit to “Indiana’s Dogwood Capital, which annually hosts one of the state’s popular springtime festivals.”
“The Dogwood Festival has been a longtime and active member of the ISFA participating in its many activities and we are indeed honored to be able to host this year’s reigning festival queen.” Henderson added.

*In the event of severe weather, or any other type of emergency, the Orleans Christian Church and Orleans United Methodist Church are designated shelter areas during festival week.
