(MARTINSVILLE) – Today, Friday and Saturday of this week the right lane of northbound State Road 37 will be closed from north of State Road 44 to just south of Teeters Road, a distance of just over one mile.
The daytime-only lane restriction is needed to remove a section of guardrail that will allow tree clearing crews to access areas that are otherwise inaccessible. The gap where guardrail has been removed will be lined with concrete barrier wall for the safety of motorists.
Motorists are urged to slow down and be aware of construction equipment and crews along the closure area.
