(WASHINGTON CO.) – Indiana Department of Homeland Security Office of the State Fire Marshal is investigating several fires that have happened in the past months in Washington County.
The state fire marshal is seeking information on the following fires:
- March 18 at the Bodenbender Farms at 3766 West Mount Carmel Road in Salem.
- March 13 fire at 1169 South Liberty Church Road in Pekin
- February 27 at 9446 South Stone Bridge Road in Salem. During the investigation, it was learned that a different structure on the same property was set on fire back on November 16, 2018.
Officials believe all these fire were intentionally set.
Anyone with information about the fires is asked to call the State Fire Marshal’s office at 317-504-7148 or call the Arson Tip Line 1-800-382-4628.
There is a $5,000 reward regarding information leading to the arrest of the person(s) responsible.
