(CRANE) – Crane Army Ammunition Activity Deputy to the Commander Norman Thomas was presented with the Department of Defense Patriot Award by Jackie Ash, employer outreach liaison with the Indiana ESGR.

The Patriot Award was presented in recognition of extraordinary support Crane Army provides to its employees serving in the Guard and Reserve. Lt. Col. Matt McGowen who also works as CAAA’s Depot Operations director, nominated his employer for this prestigious award.
During the presentation CAAA Commander Col. Mike Garlington remarked on the importance of supporting Guardsmen and Reservists who are called up to defend our Nation.
