Seymour Man Arrested After Found Sleeping In Vehicle In Middle Of Road

(BROWNSTOWN) – A Seymour man was arrested Sunday night after a Brownstown officer found him sleeping behind the wheel of a vehicle near the entrance of the Jackson Washington State Forest.

Officers were alerted to a vehicle in the middle of State Road 250 on Sunday evening and found the vehicle with 63-year-old Leslie Robinson behind the wheel in the middle of the road.
Police say Robinson was asleep and drunk.
According to police, Robinson had a blood alcohol level of 0.284 percent, more than three times the legal limit.
Robinson was taken to Schneck Medical Center for medical clearance and then to the Jackson County Jail at about 9:13 p.m. Sunday on a charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
He posted a $355 bond and was released the next morning from jail.
