Police Looking For Bedford Man Who Fled Scene Of Accident

(FAYETTEVILLE) – Lawrence County deputies are looking for 36-year-old Tyler Henderson after they say he drove his truck into a home on State Road 158 West and then fled the scene.

According to a Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department report, Henderson is wanted on a charge of leaving the scene of a property damage accident.
At 1:45 a.m. Tuesday, police say Henderson was allegedly traveling east on State Road 158 in a black 2013 Chevrolet Silverado when he drove his truck through a yard in the 7400 block of State Road 158, then struck a tree. After hitting the tree, the truck struck a concrete pad attached to the front porch of a home.
Police say Henderson fled the scene on foot before police arrived. The homeowners, Robert and Lori Mollet, were able to identify the driver as Henderson through a police photo lineup.
The Mollets told police they believe Henderson was intoxicated.
Police say there was damage to the concrete pad and damage to some drywall and a front door frame.
