Geneva “Jiggs” Anderson – Bedford

Geneva “Jiggs” Anderson, 90, of Bedford, died at 3:03 a.m. on Friday, May 19, 2017 at her residence.
Born October 23, 1926 in Liberty, KY, she was the daughter of Edward and Mary (Wilcher) Turpin. She married David Anderson and he preceded her in death. She had attended the Family Worship Center in Baton Rouge, LA. She loved her family, CB radio, crocheting and traveling.
Survivors include a granddaughter, Susan Deckard and husband, Richard, of Leesville; great grandchildren, Tramas Ault, Kalynn Todd Ault and wife, Michaela and Cherish Deckard; great great grandchildren, John Ault, Elizabeth Ault, Brycen Ault, and Azariah Ault.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 24 th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Bishop Tracy Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in the Leesville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the hour of service on Wednesday, May 24th
at the Day & Carter Mortuary.

Mona Kay (Hedge) Flynn – Bedford

Mona Kay (Hedge) Flynn, 75, of Bedford, died at 10:21 a.m. on Friday, May 19, 2017 at the IU Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born July 4, 1941, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Ray and Colletta (Ritchison) Hedge. She was a retired retail clerk.
Survivors include three sisters, Jacquey W. Richerson of North Vernon, Connie J. Cummings of Heltonville, and Penny Hensley of Bedford; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Yvonne Wray; and a sister in infancy, Vivian Hedge.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 23 at Fairview Cemetery.
