Marjorie Rose Henderson – Bedford

Marjorie Rose Henderson, 82, of Bedford, died at 1:40 a.m. on Friday, January 15, 2016 at her residence in Bloomington.
Born May 10, 1933, in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of John Felix and Lelah (Harvey) Nikirk. She married Wilbur Henderson and he preceded her in death. She had worked at W.F. Fine & Sons, Fabricast, Sarkes Tarzian and RCA. She moved to California where she was an office manager for Morgan Drive Away, a mobile home moving business, for twenty-seven years. She was a member of the Highland Faith Assembly of God.
Survivors include three sons, Dale Hall and wife, Ann and Eddie Henderson and wife, Vicki, all of Bloomington; Terry Henderson and wife, Tammy, of Bedford; twelve grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; four sisters, Lois Andis of Denver, CO, Warnetta Kirkman and husband, Junior, of Oolitic, Dana O’Neal, Bonnie Noblett and husband, Chuck, all of Bedford; three brothers, Delvin Nikirk and wife, Jeanette, of Oolitic, Danny Nikirk and wife, Sharon, of Bedford and Marshall Nikirk and wife, Betty, of Paducah, KY and a brother in law, Joe Roberts of Needmore.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three sisters, Wilma Henderson, Bea Buher and Wanda Roberts and a brother-in-law, Billy O’Neal.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 19th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Bruce Roberts and Brent O’Neal officiating. Burial will follow in Hilltop Cemetery in Avoca. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, January 18th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
