The following obituaries were received for Monday –


Robert Eugene Cranfield – Bedford
Robert Eugene Cranfield, 66, of Bedford, passed away at 6:15 p.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at Bloomington Hospital Hospice House.
Born April 5, 1946 in Madison County, he was the son of Kenneth and Thelma (Craver) Cranfield. Robert married Loretta Beaver on June 27, 1986 and she survives. He retired in 2004 from Visteon. Robert was a veteran of the U.S. Army and attended the Donica Church of God.
Survivors include his wife, Loretta, of Bedford; two sons, Michael S. Cranfield and wife Donna, of Paoli, Jeremy R. Cranfield and wife Amy, of West Baden; two daughters, Vickie R. Dalton, of Bedord, Lelah Dian Donica and husband Michael, of Bedford; 11 grandchildren, Trey, Tess, Rodney, Kayla M., and Bethany Cranfield, Christopher, Ryan and Cody Dalton, Aaron, Riley and Clint Donica; one sister, Sue Powell and husband Richard, of Indianapolis.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Jerry and Donnie Cranfield and one sister Marilyn Cranfield.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 24th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Kendall Hendrickson officiating and military rites conducted by the American Legion Gillen Post 33. Burial will be at the later date in the Pinhook Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the hour of service on Tuesday, April 24th at the Day & Carter Mortuary. Memorial contribution may be made to the White River Humane Society.
