Eugene Duncan – Bedford
Eugene Duncan of Bedford passed at his home Sunday at the age of 84.
Born in 1927 in Oolitic to Edward and Ehtel Duncan, he married Rozella Richardson in 1949 and she survives.
Eugene was a WWII veteran and member of the Grace Full Gospel Church.
He is survived by his wife, sons Mark, Larry, Dale, Dennis and Rick, nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Connie, Claudia, Violet and Charlotte, brother Edward and two grandchildren.
Visitation is today from 4pm to 8pm at Day and Carter, funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11am at Day and Carter with burial to follow at Leatherwood Cemetery.
Patrick Cunningham – Mitchell
Patrick Cunningham of Mitchell passed away at his home Sunday morning at the age of 44.
Patrick was born in 1966 in Bedford to James and Priscilla Cunningham.
He is survived by mother, brother Wesley and good friends Hugh and Bob.
Visitation is today from 5pm to 8pm at Ferguson Lee Funeral Home, funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1pm at Ferguson Lee, with burial to follow at Cresthaven Memory Gardens.
Roy Ritchison – Mitchell
Roy Ritchison of Mitchell passed away Sunday night at Westview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 91.
Born in 1919 in Lawrence County to Clarence and Bertie Ritchison he married Norma Bridges in 1939.
Roy was a WWII veteran of the navy and member of the Huron Church of God.
Roy is survived by his wife, sons Stanley and Darrell daughter Debra, sister Reba and half brother John, ten grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Julia, son roger, sisters Lucille and Margaret, brother Ralph, visitation will be Wednesday from 5pm to 8pm and 9:30 until time of service on Thursday at Chastain Funeral Home.
Funeral service is Thursday at 1030 at Chastain Funeral Home.
