Dwight Franklin Prow – Bedford
Dwight Franklin Prow of Bedford passed away on Tuesday, July 27th at Methodist Hospital at the age of 86. Born in 1924 in Bedford to Dwight Wendell and Virginia Prow, he was a graduate of Mitchell high School, was a member of New Life Apostolic Church and was a 50 year member of Iron Workers Local Union No. 22. He is survived by his wife, Cleda Hubbard Prow; one son, Jerry Prow; one daughter, Sherry Prow; as well as several grandchildren; sisters, Mary Elkins, Phyllis Kinder and Vicky Woody; and one brother, Kenneth Prow. He was preceded in death by his parents and infant son, Richard Allen Prow. Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, July31st in the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with burial to follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00PM until 8:00PM on Friday, July 30th at the funeral home.
Robert W. Tipton – Bedford
Robert W. Tipton of Bedford passed away Tuesday morning, July 27th at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital at the age of 41. Born in 1968 to Robert Tipton and Patty Sanders, he was a mechanic and was a member of the Moose Lodge #689. He is survived by his parents; three children, Daniel Taylor, Megan Tipton and Clayton Tipton; two sisters, Lisa Harper and her husband Billy, Missi Southern; one step brother, Troy Taylor; one step-sister, Julie Crane and her husband, Mike; as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM on Friday, July 30th in the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with burial to follow in Crawford Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00AM until 8:00PM on Thursday and from 9:00AM until the hour of service on Friday, July 30th at the funeral home.
