Shannon Rose Steele of French Lick passed away Monday evening, January 11th in a motor vehicle accident at the age of 21.
Born in 1988 in Paoli, Indiana to parents, John Gerren and Beverly Steele Beaver, Shannon was employed at Big Splash Adventure in French Lick and was of christian faith.
She is survived by one daughter, Maddy Bean; her mother; her step-father, Robert Patton; one sister, Sarah Gerran; two brothers, Mathew Steele and Charles Gerren; one sister-in-law, Katherine Gerren; her maternal grandmother, Shelby Steele as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Joe Steele.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 16th at 1:00PM at Ferguson – Lee Funeral Home with burial to follow in Mundell Christian Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3:00PM until 8:00PM on Friday, January 15th and from 11:00AM until the hour of service on Saturday, January 16th at Ferguson – Lee Funeral Home.
Contributions to Shannon’s daughter can be made to the Maddie Bean Fund at the funeral home.
